This client hired John for the sale of a land mark property in downtown Portland’s south auditorium district. The property is easily identified by the three high rise towers. The client needed a sale to close out an investment fund. The buyer was extremely experienced to successfully navigate both the intensive due diligence and the assumption of the $22 million Fannie Mae loan. The buyer viewed the purchase as a unique opportunity to own an irreplaceable asset in a market they wanted to maintain a strong presence. The buyer was a publicly traded REIT and a repeat customer.
